Sox for Horses is known throughout the world for creating knitted silver/copper embedded antimicrobial socks and have 15+ years of empirical evidence, contributed by our horse owning customers. Our remarkable silver bandage socks provide an effective barrier that inhibits outside sources of bacteria and fungi from reaching diseased and damaged skin finally allowing non-responding cases to heal.






Our silver/copper socks and other products are now helping people as well as equine feel better. In 2023 Sox For Horses used a much softer spin of our remarkable silver yarn to make our first products for people. We learned from people what horses had never directly told us. Something wonderful was being experienced beyond the antimicrobial qualities of silver/copper.

All our silver creations are made with 100% silver embedded poly. Poly does not harbor fungi and bacteria as cotton does. Our yarn’s antimicrobial protection is intrinsic to every stitch of yarn, for the life of the product. Our yarn does not contain nano-silver nor does it contain any potentially toxic or harmful chemical agents.
